BEGINNING May 1, 2025 the Town of Oriental will TEMPORARILY stop adding ammonia as a part of the drinking water disinfection process The annual change is required by Federal and State regulations that govern the operations of water systems. The Town of Oriental will resume adding ammonia in the disinfection process on May 28, 2025 in conjunction with the temporary disinfection change.
